The Ladder was sent early Sunday morning to Ash St. in moosic for a residential structure fire. Upon arrival Chief 98 reported a one story residential home over 50% involved in fire and unoccupied. Engine 98 would be first to arrive establishing a water supply and putting two master streams in operation to quickly darken down the fire and protect exposures on both the B & D side of the home. The 963 Ladder was next in going to work checking for extension in both exposures. The Ladder split there crew and did a thorough check on the two homes which turned up negative. The teams then went to work doing extensive overhaul on the main fire building. Assisting on the alarm was Engine 93, Engine 93-3, Rescue 95 & Rescue 23 as the fast truck. Companies operated for approx. 2 1/2 hours before returning to service. PSP Fire Marshall will be on the scene investigating.
